Coronavirus update from nutravet

At nutravet we care about animal health and under the current circumstances we are committed to ensuring your pet maintains continuity of care with access to our products.

We want to re-assure pet owners that we’ll continue to supply stock to our authorised veterinary practices to ensure products remain available for you to purchase as normal.

Please contact your local stockists (click here to find your local stockist) who will be happy to offer advice and support to ensure your pet continues to benefit from regular supply of nutravet products.

Accessing nutravet products during the coronavirus outbreak

As you will appreciate many vets are currently prioritising their services, changing their opening times and minimising face-to-face contact. Couple this with the restrictions on travelwe understand that it is more challenging to access products to maintain your pet's health.

We want to assure you that we continue to supply stock to our veterinary practices. Below are some recommendations to make sure you can maintain access to our products during the current climate.

Check to see if you have enough product at home already

Before contacting your veterinary practice double check how much you currently have and how long they will last. Each box has the administration rates on the box which is based on your pet's weight to make it easy to work out how many capsules/tablets are required.

See if your vet's opening times and services have changed

Visit your veterinary practice's website and/or social media pages in the first instance for updates on if they have changed their opening times or services provided.

Ask your vet if they can provide a postal service

Many vets are already offering a postal service so they can maintain continuity of care for their clients during this time.  Contact your veterinary practice and ask if they can accept payments over the phone and if they will post out stock to your home.

Does your veterinary practice offer a pick-up service?

As some vets are currently not offering their full service, contact them and ask if they can accept payments over the phone and then arrange to either collect or get someone to safely collect on your behalf.

Purchase our larger boxes or additional products

Whilst we do not recommend stockpiling, it may be of benefit to reduce your travel and possibility of contact with others at this time. All of our products have long best before dates and the larger box sizes are also better value.

Find your local stockists

We have thousands of stockists across the UK and Ireland. If your existing veterinary practice is not able to help you at this time, we suggest finding another stockist close by. All of our range are available exclusively from veterinary practices where you can purchase over the counter without a prescription, even if your pet is not registered at the practice.

We will be monitoring the situation very closely and will keep you updated should circumstances change. In the meantime, we will continue to manufacture and supply to veterinary practices across the UK & Ireland.
